(I know this is a bit off-topic for this subreddit, but I’m hoping there are some people here who can give me some solid advice.)Hey there , I hope you're doing well. So I've been in digital marketing for about 3 years now. I've worked in a bunch of different niches like clothing brands, gyms, an online livestock marketplace, book marketing, and even companies dealing with crypto. I've helped them generate leads and traffic through social media marketing, SEO, email marketing, personal branding, and all that good stuff.Lately, I've been thinking about focusing on just one niche instead of spreading myself across different industries. I’ve worked with some investors, venture equity, and brokerage companies, and honestly, what I really enjoyed the most was working in this niche. I’ve helped a couple of clients build their personal brands, and we got a lot of positive results. Plus, it doesn't burn me out like other areas sometimes do. t’s where I feel most energized. So here’s the question: Do you think focusing on personal branding for finance professionals is a good niche to stick with? I’m thinking long-term about this, and I'd love to hear your thoughts or any advice from others who have experience in this space. Thanks via /r/FinancialCareers https://ift.tt/i5Hh0v6

I have a gambling addiction, hopefully I can stop it soon, losing my job recently sent me into a bad relapse that completely drained all my funds.Right now I owemy credit card 24000about 15000 on a car loanthe government about 37000 (From income tax, I had to file my own, and kept trying to pay my credit off before paying my income tax because I was getting interest on my credit card, but then I'd relapse and gamble and after the years I owe the government a lot of money)Details about meI'm unemployed right now, as a software developer, for about a month and half, on a job hunt. Trying to get a 100,000+/yr job a year, but it's getting difficult and might have to settle for something like 70,000I'm going to need to get rid of my car, what can I do here? Do I make the company I bought it from repossess it? Right now it's making a few noises (that are totally the companies fault, but I've had it for 2 years), and I damaged the bumper (last week 😤). If they repossess it, is that they're problem? Should I not fix any of the issues and just let them take it?Over the past few years I've been working in the crypto industry and getting paid in crypto. I've been filing it as employment income, but could I have been filing it as capital gains? Can I go back and change my income tax over the past few years?Bankruptcy is an option. There's no way I can make payments towards anything until I get hired somewhere and I'm late on all my bills. via /r/PersonalFinanceCanada https://ift.tt/vKFd1Y0
