Here is a little story from me, so everything will be clear.I moved to one of biggest cities in Eu from my poor home country. I had some issues there so i kinda had to leave it (not escape but to leave and start a new life). I’m 23, so we can say basically I had to start my new life here from almost zero since if you’re 23 from a poor country you don’t have that much in your life. I have here my own apartment where I live alone etc, so I dont have a bad life here plus I have a lot better opportunities BUT!!4 months ago a find a girl online. She is from Africa, but learning in EU. Not too far from me, but still around 130 km (1 Hour 30 min with bus, not that horrible).Everything went well, we are officiay together a little bit more than 1 months. She is beautiful, smart, very good raised, feminine etc etc… and what I like a lot is that I’m her first boyfriend, and yes she is even a virgin. Yes she is. I didn’t even understood why she choose me, but she did and that is what’s important. But my problem is guys that since I travel to her every weekend or sometimes she comes to me, it’s VERY expensive. The way there and back is 35 eu, since we are all day together we go into caffees, grab an ice cream, go to museums and dinner at the end. (not fancy restaurants but still 2x from everything so you know..) This is weekly roughly 100-150eu monthly around 350-450. She is from Africa, but still from a very wealthy family. I dont know exactly how rich they are especially compared to Europe but I know that in their country they are very rich. I don’t except her to pay me, split the bill etc because she is studying here, doesn’t work so she kinda relies on her parents but still.. She mentoined her family’s status a couple times and always said that they are very down to earth, not judging other people by money and I can even see it on her attitude too. She told me that she never understood thoose women who got married because of another man’s money, so she is not a gold digger honestly and I can see it on her too.But I saw a couple reels on Ig that she liked.. they were about man should pay for dates, jokes about “i hope nobody thinks that I’m not materialistic because I’am”, and these kind of things and this starts to worry me..And now everybody would tell me that be at my place always, what is a good idea, we even was, but.. As i mentioned she is still a virgin, she told me a LOT of times that she is dating to marry, she was raised her whole life to find a man that she loves and settle down etc etc.. we even talked about this too that both of us are curious about the next 2-3 months, because if the things will go seriuos then you know.. we could plan our future later together. But the thing is she doesn’t want to be here always and sleep here because she doesn’t want to have sex YET. Until she is not sure im the one she wont give herself. I can kinda understand it, because this is very rare nowadays that at age 22 somebody is still virgin, non experienced… but still.. I came here to build my future, save money, I got into cryptos, Investing, dca, thinking all day about money and building the future and become rich and these things normal guys think at this age. But this way I cant really build my future, I can barely save money at the end of the month ( I can but it’s very little money or at least for me). I really want to date this girl and if everything goes well then to build our future together, but im worried about how I will do it with these expenses. Plus another thing that is a big question mark, that her attitude towards money.. she came from a rich family, I don’t know how important for her are the materialistics in reality (not by insta post likes but like in real life), what are her expectations, etc..I know she is unexperienced in dating and I noticed that some things she is not even aware of because of no-experience but still guys… right now I feel that these big “fees” that come with the distance and circumstances could be a problem. What do you think? Could it work out or just leave it all behind if I feel like it won’t?Or maybe try to talk with her about this? via /r/AskMenAdvice https://ift.tt/caP59uv

Before you guys judge me just read… and if this is too much of a pitty party or something dont worry, its my last post that I’ll make on here ;)I’m 33 years old….. and I’m genuinely nothing. I don’t mean in the sense of like an emo song, or an ironic negativity poster or something, I mean I have objectively taken stock of my entire life in a sober and calculated way and determined, authoritatively and with finality, that I am a nonentity.I know some of you are going to read narcissism here but I promise you that’s not the case--364 days a year I’m not talking about myself, I’m just minding my business, trying to get through my day… I’m not looking for empathy with this post, or comrodery, or upvotes… I just want to shout into the void one time so that I feel like I exist. I hope this post brings you some sort of entertainment or makes you feel better about yourself or I hope you stop reading and click away from it fast enough not to waste your day… I wish for you whatever you’d wish for yourself. My parents are both gone… It’s never caused me pain and I’ve never had an edgy “MY PARENTS ARE DEAD” phase, it’s just never been some sort of trauma that I had to deal with. I never really knew my dad, for one thing. We met once when I was 18 and had lunch at the mall Chinese food and he wouldn’t make eye contact with me… It was one of the most surreal experiences of my life and most of what I remember is looking down into the texture of the General Tso’s (PBUH) chicken while hearing the sound of rushing air from the carousel. I remember looking up and seeing my dad talking while looking off in the distance and all I could hear was the mechanical sound of this carousel that was so loud it sounded like a jet fighter was right next to my head. That’s my literal only memory of my dad, so no it didn’t mess me up when I heard years later that he had died. My mom was a different kind of absent… She was physically around, all the time, but mentally gone. She would smoke weed (not judging you if you do but yeah) multiple times a day, every single day, from a $500 bubbler and hotbox the entire house. This was an old house with vents that didn’t close properly, so the smell would just seep through and be inescapable. It didn’t matter if I was trying to do homework, figure out a business plan, relax with video games, or sleep--there was no escaping that stank smell, the constant clicking of the bubbler/lighter/grinder on the glass coffee table, or the TV that she’d keep on at max volume 24/7. Any time we’d fight about it, she would just clutch her chest and claim that I was killing her with stress (she struggled with cardiovascular problems and hyper tension for the last ten years). So she was in really poor health already, when from out of nowhere, the pandemic hit.We both got sick three times. The first time was devastating--we were both at death’s door for weeks, though I will say there were times where it felt kinda cool… I felt like a kid again staying home sick from school with the flu or something… Heck, it almost made the loss of bodily function control worth it! The second time we got sick it was more of the same, just less intense. The third time we got sick, it felt to me almost like a regular cold, but my mom got pneumonia and just didn’t make it out of the hospital. Her last (delirious) words to me were “turn off the hose”     ¯\_(ツ)_/¯It was very sad to me, not because I missed her necessarily but because it made me think of what flawed and hopeless people my parents were (and myself for that matter) and I just wished things could’ve turned out better for them, for all of us really. I didn’t have time to really feel it because I immediately had to deal with her “death book” (half-filled-out, like, instructions on what to do with fifty different accounts and all that jazz) and storage units filled with junk--including a laptop with an untold amount of cryptocurrency that she just never bothered to tell me about, which I’ll never get back now as it’s been sold to one of these 75% BMI Billy Bob storage unit “hunters” who probably doesn’t even know what crypto is (LOL).I thought with my parents gone I could finally “get a start on my life” but boy was I wrong in thinking that’s how this stuff works. I now realize that my mom’s life, her house, her habits, are like a hermit crab shell that I have now crawled inside of and inhabit. I mainly eat Great Value Texas Toast. I fall asleep with the TV on as loud as possible. I have become my mom.I used to want to be a musician, I even got a degree in music business that I’ve never put to use (and owe $85k on still). I have two $400 guitars that I haven’t touched in months because the covers reels I posted to tiktok got no views. The closest I ever got to being a real musician is working at Guitar Center. And that’s what brings me to the post in question (this one). The Guitar Center where I work at is closing down. My boss there, this guy **** (don’t want to dox him), looks like he stepped straight out of Boogie Nights--like, chest hair, giant rings on most fingers, drives a loud Dodge on rims--when I first met him I hated him but then I realized he’s actually incredibly knowledgeable on anything audio-related. He knows that I have been trying to get my life together and do something this whole time, so now that the store is closing and people are coming in and out moving inventory and displays… well, Ryan, he saw me eyeing this Neumann TLM 103 and also a UA Apollo Twin interface like a lost puppy, and he just kinda turned his head to the side like, “hey, kid, I don’t care watcha do.”And so, with a smile on my face and some extra pep in my step, I walked out on my last day of work with my dream microphone and interface nestled safely under my arm, ready to go home and start my creepy pasta channel. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t condone stealing, but Guitar Center had held back bonus pay that I should’ve gotten and also underpaid me, so now I feel like we’re square. It was the first time I’d felt happy or hopeful in years. My idea of starting a creepypasta channel originated, oddly enough, with my mom. Because of the noise from that demonic bubbler and the TV being on all the time, I would have to put earplugs in, then blast podcasts through my headphones on top of the earplugs. Eventually, like many here I would assume, I found that I got the best sleep listening to old AM radio weirdos, ghost story tapes, liminal audio, that sort of thing. This was years and years ago that I had the idea, well before the YouTube creepypasta community was a thing. Of course when people started making creepypastas on YouTube, I was a little nonplussed at being beaten to the punch on another very lucrative idea, but late is better than never, and now I have to do something more than just sit in the same exact bedroom I’ve been in since 2010 and watch other people succeed. It took me all day to record this story and I kept putting off posting it here because I didn’t think it was good enough, but also nothing I make ever feels good enough and if I keep waiting I’m just gonna end up dying without ever actually putting anything out… So, respectfully, here it is.I know my situation isn’t even that bad, I know there are people out there who’ve been through way worse, especially w.r.t. this country’s current administration. But for me it feels like everything is crumbling all at once, and I’m just scared of what’s going to happen if this doesn’t work out. I’m asking for help… And I’m not good at that, never have been, i’m trying to fix things and I don’t want to beg but i know I am, because this is the one thing i’ve made in years that FEELS LIKE ME and I don’t want it to disappear into the void like everything else I’ve done.Anyway sorry if this post was too long or whiny (I know everybody has their own stuff going on) or if it sounds like i’m trying to manipulate anyone i’m not, i’m just tired right now. I’ve never been more tired than I am right now.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb8ops-oTZw via /r/creepypasta https://ift.tt/9342N0X

00:00 – 06:30 — Market Conditions and Crypto Volatility: Matthew and Jeremy analyze recent market trends, describing a "bleed-up" market as sentiment stabilizes post-Jackson Hole and in response to Jerome Powell's latest speech. They note the market's cautious optimism, with cooling momentum from earlier volatility. The discussion shifts to Bitcoin ($BTC) and cryptocurrencies, where Matthew highlights the challenge of pinpointing drivers behind volatile price swings, often lacking clear fundamental catalysts. Jeremy emphasizes that crypto markets heavily rely on technical analysis, with chart patterns and momentum indicators guiding trader decisions more than traditional fundamentals. 06:30 – 09:00 — Guest Introduction: Patrick introduces Marcos Milla, a YouTuber known for his insightful takes on ETF investing and income-focused strategies. Patrick references a vibrant social media post by Marcos, where he likened ETF investing to "stepping out of a marriage" for its flexibility and freedom. Marcos elaborates, explaining that ETFs allow investors to pivot strategies without the rigid commitment of other investment vehicles, offering a dynamic approach to wealth-building. 09:00 – 11:00 — $TSPY Investment Strategy: Patrick prompts Marcos to share his perspective on $TSPY, a covered call ETF. Marcos outlines his strategy, emphasizing $TSPY’s unique approach to generating income through options while maintaining exposure to underlying assets. He highlights its appeal for investors seeking consistent income with managed risk, detailing how $TSPY balances yield generation with capital preservation. 11:00 – 14:00 — ETF Income Strategies: Matthew shares his expertise on ETFs designed for income, focusing on dividend-paying ETFs and covered call strategies. He explains how writing covered calls can enhance yield but stresses the importance of selecting ETFs with strong underlying assets to mitigate risks. Matthew underscores the need for due diligence, as high dividend yields can sometimes mask underlying weaknesses. 14:00 – 16:00 — $TSPY vs. YieldMax: Patrick asks Matthew to compare $TSPY with YieldMax, particularly regarding dividend yield sources. Matthew explains that $TSPY’s dividends are derived from covered call premiums, offering a more sustainable yield compared to YieldMax, which often relies on net asset value (NAV) drawdowns. This structure makes $TSPY less vulnerable to eroding principal, a critical factor for long-term investors. 16:00 – 18:00 — Covered Call ETFs: Marcos avoids most covered call ETFs due to capped upside but favors $TSPY for using 0 DTE options, reducing overnight risk while capturing premiums. 18:00 – 28:30 — Covered Call Risks: Matthew warns against chasing high yields, as some ETFs pay dividends from principal. The group debates covered call ETFs, noting they generate income but don’t shield against drawdowns. 28:30 – 35:00 — Passive/Active Income: Patrick notes young investors’ interest in passive income. Marcos sees a blend of active and passive strategies, while Matthew cautions that options income ETFs may skip dividends or use principal in tough markets. 35:00 – 38:30 — Crypto Staking ETFs: Marcos discusses crypto staking ETFs, noting high yields but regulatory uncertainty. Matthew adds that evolving rules complicate staking strategies for ETFs. 38:30 – 44:00 — ETF Allocation: Marcos shares his flexible allocation between dividend and growth ETFs, driven by market conditions and risk management to balance income and growth. 43:30 – 45:00 — ETF Cash Flows: Matthew explains ETF cash flow management for STO positions: by 3 PM, ETFs assess markets, handle redemptions/inflows, and execute BTC orders or sell covered calls. 45:00 – 48:00 — Gold/Crypto ETFs: Patrick asks Marcos about Gold and Bitcoin ETFs. Marcos notes some ETFs combine exposure, but brokerages may limit access to swap-based ETFs mislabeled as leveraged. 48:00 – 50:30 — Options: ETFs vs. Manual: Jeremy compares manual options strategies to ETFs, noting individual portfolios allow more flexibility, while ETFs face cash flow and regulatory constraints. 50:30 – 53:21 — Closing: Patrick and Jeremy thank Marcos, who promotes his YouTube channel, offering practical ETF and income strategy insights. via /r/CoveredCalls https://ift.tt/c6bmo4I

I've been buying and following BTC and Crypto since the last halving, I really think I am too late and should have started prior to the last cycle...I had a discussion this at the office with IT colleagues, when I mentioned BTC they all said it's meant only for drugs and Dark-web purchases, I was astonished, they were so opinionated so I didn't want to argue with them.. I am not so late after all LOL !!! I am curious if you had any similar feedbacks (either positive of negative) form casual BTC related discussion within your circles? via /r/BitcoinCA https://ift.tt/r8qz06e

https://ift.tt/TxIhfKk the Video https://youtube.com/live/Dv8RNA2gom0 Why did so many people believe in Lightning Shared Scooter Co. (LSSC)? On the surface, the pitch looked genius: you “buy” an e-scooter, the company “rents” it out, and you earn daily passive income. It was sold as the Uber of scooters, except easier and far more profitable.Early investors bragged about doubling or tripling their money in weeks, and families across the globe convinced themselves this was the future of urban transport. For many, it didn’t feel like speculation — it felt like owning a piece of a booming industry. How Much Money Was Lost in This China Scooter Scam? While exact figures are impossible to pin down, conservative estimates suggest tens of millions of dollars globally have been siphoned through LSSC. Reports collected from Reddit alone show thousands of small investors losing between $1,000–$10,000 each, spread across North America, South America, Eastern Europe (especially Poland and Serbia), and Asia. At one point, LSSC’s Telegram channels boasted over 900,000 members, showing just how widespread the scam became before collapsing. Why Did the China Scooter Ponzi Collapse?Like all Ponzi schemes, LSSC depended on a steady stream of new recruits to keep payouts flowing. The “earnings” weren’t rental income from scooters — none have been proven to exist at any commercial scale — but deposits from newer victims. Once recruitment slowed and regulators in Canada began issuing warnings in June and July 2025, the cracks appeared:Withdrawals froze or were delayed.Websites kept changing (lssc-canada.ca, thelssc.com, lssce.com, lightsha.com, etc.).New deposits were required just to “unlock” existing balances.By August 2025, the scheme was effectively dead, with victims locked out of their funds. Is There Any Hope of Recovering Money From This China Scam?Unfortunately, recovery chances are slim to none. Investigators and victims have described LSSC’s payment systems as using rotating crypto wallets that changed every two hours. Funds were routed through largely unregulated exchanges, making clawback nearly impossible. While regulators in Canada (BCSC, AMF, ASC, FCAA, FCNB) have all blacklisted the company, those warnings typically arrive far too late to help people already defrauded.Where Was This Scam Really Run From? (China Links)While branded as a “Canada‑based” business, LSSC is widely suspected to have been operated by China‑linked scam networks, using the same playbook seen in other scooter Ponzi operations. These networks specialize in fake apps, shell companies, and aggressive international recruitment rings. The Many Names and Domains of This China Scooter SchemeOver its short lifespan, Lightning Shared Scooter Co. operated under a confusing web of business names and domains to appear legitimate and dodge regulators. These included LSSC Canada Inc., LSSC Edmonton Ltd., LSSC Marketing Inc., LSSC Expansion #1 Ltd., Lightning Shared Scooter Limited, and Lightning Shared Scooter Co., Ltd.Victims reported seeing websites under: thelssc.com, lssc‑canada.ca, lssce.com, lssc6.com, lightsha.com, lightacer.com, and even lightapp.cqyydsb.com. This kind of domain‑hopping is a classic hallmark of online Ponzi schemes, designed to stay one step ahead of takedown requests and blacklists. The Rebrand Pattern – From LSSC to Yuechi Sharing Technology Ltd. (China-Based Successors)One of the clearest signs LSSC was never a real business is how it morphed into new names the moment its reputation collapsed. Victims have documented the same operators running projects under Andes Mobility, SELEAD, LTEC, and Light Speed Shared Scooters. On May 26th, 2025, I published an investigation into Yuechi Sharing Technology Ltd. (YS), which showed nearly identical red flags. YS promised profits from supposed scooter fleets, but the business model mirrored LSSC’s exactly: slick marketing, fake apps, crypto‑only deposits, tiered “investment” levels, and heavy reliance on recruitment. The lesson? After one scheme implodes, many victims don’t walk away — they simply switch into the next rebrand, often lured by the very same recruiters. That’s how this cycle, often driven out of China, keeps repeating.Recruitment: The Engine of the China Scooter PonziLSSC didn’t spread through ads or app stores — it spread through family, friends, and WhatsApp/Telegram groups. Victims were promised bonuses and higher returns if they recruited others. Some even pressured relatives at family gatherings to “get in before it’s too late.”The results were devastating: households turned against each other, friendships destroyed, and reputations ruined when the money vanished.Who Should Be Held Accountable for the China Scooter Scam? It’s not just the faceless operators abroad. American, Canadian, and international recruiters actively pushed this scheme, posting fake testimonials online and persuading loved ones to invest. One name that surfaced from victims was “Francois,” reportedly acting as a manager who reassured investors just before the collapse.Meanwhile, authorities in Salinas, California confirmed that dozens of local and global promoters pitched LSSC directly, with some persuading people to part with tens of thousands of dollars. These recruiters must be named and shamed. Even if they now claim to be victims, anyone who knowingly profited by recruiting others into an illegal scheme bears responsibility.Timeline of the CollapseEarly 2024 – LSSC emerges with its “scooter rental” pitch.Spring 2025 – Telegram recruitment drives; 900k+ members claimed.June 19, 2025 – Alberta Securities Commission issues first warning.June 23–24, 2025 – BC and New Brunswick regulators blacklist LSSC.July 4, 2025 – Quebec and Saskatchewan issue alerts; withdrawals freeze.August 2025 – Total collapse; victims locked out of funds. Why This China Scooter Ponzi Model Will ReturnThe ugly truth is that this scam worked. Tens of millions were stolen before LSSC collapsed, which means the operators now know the model is profitable. Variations of this scooter scam — under new names and new domains — will almost certainly resurface from China and beyond.Unless victims and regulators spread awareness, the same playbook will trap fresh investors. It’s a repeatable formula: fake scooters, fake apps, crypto deposits, domain-hopping, and endless recruitment.Call-to-ActionIf you or someone you know invested in LSSC, share your story. Every testimony helps build a stronger case against the individuals and networks behind this fraud.Did you recruit or were you recruited? How much did you lose?Which app or website did you use? Were you redirected to another “scooter investment” like Yuechi Sharing Technology Ltd.?Contact me directly via my website: dehek.com/contactBy pooling information, we can expose the scammers, warn future victims, and pressure regulators to act faster. The bottom line: There were never any scooters. Just another Chinese Ponzi scheme disguised as innovation.Disclaimer: How This Investigation Was ConductedThis investigation relies entirely on OSINT — Open Source Intelligence — meaning every claim made here is based on publicly available records, archived web pages, corporate filings, domain data, social media activity, and open blockchain transactions. The next stock market bubble hasn't even started, it will be the biggest one in history and it will come from all the companies issuing debt and using that to buy all kinds of OG and blue-chip crypto as their treasury. I won't tell you which ones. It will last 2 years of non-stop pump until everybody is in and will end/burst when Bitcoin collapses abruptly, leaving trillions of debt into the retail's hands along with the worst recession ever. So be wise and sell the top on May 2028.Take care via /r/timetravel https://ift.tt/lVC9TGS

PSA: A doofus broke the rules (see the About) and cross-posted the 2025 version in r/amd_stock, and then that person got blocked and banned and the subreddit went private for a few months. Probably set up a new account. Don't be a doofus. Older versions:https://ift.tt/GFXB0uN centerEPYC / non-InstinctFrom the 2025 outlook:I am expecting 35-40% x86 revenue share by the end of 2025. I think the server market overall will show some recovery (5-10%) in 2025 vs 2024 to serve as a general tailwind. I think the EPYC / non-Instinct line can grow at 25%+ for 2025. I think that AMD can gain more share from Intel than it loses from in-house silicon solutions until at least H1 2026.My main theses haven't changed, but things are going better than expected. By Mercury Research standards which is what AMD uses, revenue share is at 41% revenue share for Q1 2025. At this rate, I'm guessing that AMD will be close to 50% revenue share by Q1 2026. Enterprise gains in 2025 sounds good.Competitively speaking, Intel doesn't appear to have a shot at parity or leadership until Coral Rapids (2028-2029) which means that AMD likely has an edge, even if that edge shrinks with DMR and 18A scales up ok, for years. I expect AMD to be 60%+ revenue share by the time Coral Rapids launches.Instinct3/2025: If AMD were to get say $7.5B in AI GPU sales in 2025, they are doing pretty well. By my count, they will lose share to Nvidia in 2025. That's ok.With the exception of the MI308 lightning bolt strike, Instinct is about where I was expecting it to be.MI350 doesn't appear to be half baked with their early pull-in and still appears to be a Zen 2 type moment to me where AMD shows that they're serious. I think of MI300 as more of a Zen 1 that shows that they at least deserve a seat at the table even if there are some growing pains in their baptism by fire. Software seems to be coming along fine. One thing that is trickier in this space is the release cadence and the race to the fastest compute as the near-term constraint is space and power. The cost for having too much old inventory is much worse than what's normally seen.Everybody's big on the MI400 being Rubin-esque or better. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but the market overall is putting down a material downpayment. Suddenly, AMD is a player in AI again to the market which is eye-rolling. When I wrote the 2025 wild guesses, the stock was about $96.Client3/2025: Overall, I think the market is sleeping on AMD's client. For Q4 2024, I have $10.5B for client at $2.9B operating margin. I think client revenue share will be 26%+ by the end of 2024.My client theses hasn't changed much either. Mercury has AMD at 27.8% revenue share. There are still some client deniers on sell-side, but they are shrinking. I've seen people say that nothing matters but AI, but I don't agree with that. It's hard to ignore the charms of raw earnings power. If the main business engine overall looks strong, it makes the AI story easier to believe (you still have to deliver the dream.)On Desktop, NVL is quite a ways away. Looking further out to 2026, I'm skeptical on how much N2 Intel was able to get because it feels like they were late in that queue. AMD looks weaker on notebook, but I think that AMD will continue to take revenue share from a low baseline. Intel has some material structural notebook headwinds in terms of LNL margins and ARL lack of CoPilot+ readiness. For PTL, I don't think the released product will necessarily be bad, but I think 18A's volume ramp across their SKUs will be slow with just a token launch in Q4 2025. Gaming3/2025: AMD did say that they were expecting modest growth in gaming for FY 2025 which I usually associate as 3-6%. But RDNA 4 has probably been the best received RDNA product (low bar). If AMD has capacity and is serious about its marketshare grab + Nvidia is having an oddly sloppy 5000 launch with very tight supply, I think AMD will surprise a bit on gaming. I'm penciling in ~10% growth YOY for $3.0B in sales with operating margin of about $375M.Gaming is also better than I was expecting with better results from console than I was originally expecting at the start of the year. RDNA4 sales appear to be doing well vs a pretty low baseline.Embedded3/2025: I'm guessing 2025 as about $3.7B and ~1.6B in operating margin. I think the growth we'll see 10%+ growth in 2026My first FPGA cyclical downturn has been ah...illuminating. I still have about the same amount of revenue for FY25 ($3.55B), but one surprise this year was that the operating margin dropped to 33.2% in Q2 2025 after being at 40%+ for much of Xilinx's acquisition time, even during the downturn in 2024. AMD says that it's because of product mix and still trudging through inventory in industrial. H2 25 should supposedly show some growth vs H1 25. AMD, the stock3/2025: I used to say that without a material AI play, AMD was probably a $90 stock, but I think that I said that back in ~June 2023, which relatively speaking seems like a tame period compared to today. I think that $100 is a pretty attractive price for AMD. If the macro could just stay stable, I think it has a good shot of being at $120 - $140 by the end of the year.Or…$180 by August 2025! The hedgesMy market angst looked more real about a month after the initial post with a drop to from $96 to $78.A lot of my concerns of the administration turned out to be true in the short-term, but the USG has shown more restraint and a love for TACOs to avoid the worst case scenarios. AMD has luckily managed to stay out of the USG's crosshairs (for now). I think Su has pretty deftly managed AMD through the political side of things. Before the tariff meltdown, I did end up going all in on AMD but heavily hedged with a high floor collar (bought puts and sell calls). And as the market and the USG started to get a better feel for what the other would tolerate and AMD's improving story, I started to loosen the collar (lower floor and higher ceiling), then I removed the covered calls. And then started selling shares in tranches. Dwindling put coverage on the remaining shares. Easing outStarting at $135, I started selling off roughly 10% tranches at every $XX5 mark. I did something similar on the 2024 run up to $220. So, as of today at $185, I've whittled down about 50% of my AMD equity positions in my tax-deferred accounts. For the taxable accounts, I sold covered calls ATM at their $XX5 price to be called at around May 2026 for long term capital gains reasons. I have another 8% in random LEAPs bought during the tariff panic that I'll probably let ride through expiration in 2026 and 2027. So, I am about 40% cash. Animal spiritsI do think AMD has a bright future in the next 2 years especially with Intel in such a compromised state and seeing AMD progressing through their AI GPU roadmap. But the animal spirits are very much back in the markets overall (crypto, meme stocks, the market overall expecting their rate cuts from a more compliant Fed.) If I put a 30x earnings on AMD, at $180, that implies $6.00 in earnings power in the next 12 months or about $9.7B in net income.I could always argue that MI400 and beyond represents a massive increase in earnings power in 2027, but it looks like a lot of people are putting down a big downpayment for that scenario. And of course, the most scientific bull market froth analysis: the waves of new r/amd_stock bulls all declaring their loyalty to be in it for the next 5 years with their conservative EOW, EOM, EOY estimates that start with a 2 and their "conservative" $1T market cap targets. And then there are the older cohorts who, despite getting hit with a 5th or 6th 50%+ drop, won't take profits because you know…$1T. ;-) I'll probably keep selling more of my $XX5 tranches until I'm down to say 20% NW in notional exposure to AMD. America, Fuck Yeah! The America, Fuck Yeah! portfolio has not done so well with a 12.05% gain compared to SMH's 23.43% gains but better than SPY's 6.92% gain. GFS, ON, and TXN have done poorly / lagged.ChangelogBumped up gaming to $3.0B and $375M from $2.8B / $320M via /r/amd_fundamentals https://ift.tt/69AJBYw
